❍ Please tell us what else you would like to see from 5‧18 International Research Institute.
- 5‧18 Nationalization of related seminars, conferences, etc.
- Building a network of researchers for 5‧18 (how can researchers connect?)
- Establish an accessible archive of collected data
- Collectively organize/review the current status of 5‧18-related issues and the policies and related activities (foundations, truth and reconciliation commissions, etc.) that are currently being promoted, analyze and share them
- Avoid duplication of tasks with existing 5‧18-related organizations and researchers as much as possible, and focus on activities that are worthy of the name international research institute
- Creating a foundation and recruiting personnel
- Designing a virtuous cycle between research, education and culture
- Pursuing the universal value of 5‧18 (if the current close distances of 5‧18 organizations continues, they may be marginalized)
- Ensuring that researchers are not swayed by political positions or political decisions. An organization that is able to think about the succession of memories, the development of alternatives, and the creation of values for the future
- I would rather not be a researcher who is monopolized by local connections or a particular school, but I am against the distribution of positions. Be able to play a role, but not be swayed by political winds
